Friday, March 08, 2019

Gospel singer Gaby Kamanzi has released a new video for her latest single titled "Nzahora Nshima”.

Translated I will always praise you, the video was released on March 7. It is one of the tracks on her new album to be unveiled to fans later this month.

The album was recorded by WaveLab Studios, a local recording house that has produced for some of the top gospel artistes and bands in the country, like Prayer House Band (formerly Beauty for Ashes). It was directed by Bob Chris Raheem.

According to Gaby, as she is fondly called by her fans, the song is inspired by Jesus Christ dying on the cross to forgive the sins of mankind.

"This song came to me when I was meditating on what Jesus did for me on the cross, washing my sins away so that today I can be holy and free before God. What an amazing thing!” she said.

Gaby has been an active member of the gospel music community for the past eight years. She is considered one of the most popular female artistes in the country. She is also a worship leader at Restoration Church Kimisagara, as well as one of the vocalists in Shekinah, a worship team belonging to the same church.

It has been more than a year since Gaby released a song.

For Gaby, the long wait was meant to focus on quality, in order to release something good and professional.

The "Amahoro” star launched her debut album "Ungirira Neza” in 2013. She is known for her exceptional vocal ability, and has served gospel music lovers over the years songs like Neema ya goligota, Il est vivant, Wowe muremyi, and You are all I need.

The singer will launch her second album this year, through a live recording concert.
