University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB) have turned their focus to the annual Father Emmanuel Kayumba memorial volleyball tournament after winning another cup.

The two-day event will take place at Group Scolaire de Butare (Indatwa n’Inkesha School) from February 9-10.

UTB are fresh from winning the Heroes tournament after beating Gisagara 3-1.

They currently lead the league table standings with 28 points, three ahead of second-placed Rwanda Energy Group and third-placed Gisagara, who however still have two games to play on Saturday.

Head coach Fidele Nyirimana told Times Sport: "I am so happy for the boys but we still have a lot of work ahead of us. Next up is the Kayumba memorial tournament and we are going to prepare with view to winning it as well.”

"We have reduce mistakes in games and we still have hard work to do. This week we are starting the preparations for Kayumba memorial and Zone V tournaments,” Nyirimana added.

UTB have completed second round matches and will wait for other teams who are expected to play their last matches on February 2.
