Gasogi United head coach Marcel Lomami has called on his players to capitalize on their momentum when they host Akagera in second division league at Kigali Stadium.

Lomami’s side are flying high atop Group A table with 16 points and go into Sunday’s clash on the back of a win over Aspor on match-day 6.

On the other hand, strugglers Akagera have not managed a single point in their first six games this term.

Speaking to Sunday Sport on Saturday, Lomami said that his side will be looking for ‘three important points’ as they seek to extend their unbeaten run, and maintain the lead.

"We are the leaders of Group A, and we want to keep winning so that we can stay at the top. It gives a boost of morale to players when we win, the game [against Akagera] is a must-win,” said Lomami.

The former Rayon Sports assistant coach further noted that his team’s target is to earn promotion to Azam Rwanda Premier League for the 2019/2020 season.

Elsewhere in Group A, Rugende host Sorwathe at Rugende grounds.

In Group B. leaders Intare take on Pepiniere at Kicukiro stadium, while United Stars will be up against Hope at Kabagari grounds.
