President Paul Kagame has arrived in the Swiss town of Davos to join over 65 Heads of State and Government and top global executives for this year’s World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

Bringing together over 3,000 participants from over 110 countries, the yearly meeting will be held under the theme Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a focus on how leaders across sectors and generations can join forces to shape a more inclusive and sustainable global architecture.

According to a statement, President Kagame, who doubles as the Chairperson of the African Union (AU), will participate in various sessions including a discussion with African Heads of State attending the forum on Shaping Africa’s Agenda in the Global Context, today.

Other sessions in which the Head of State will participate include a televised discussion on Digitizing Emerging Markets with Jack Ma as well as a panel discussion on "Africa’s Leadership in the New Global Context” with President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa.

Wednesday’s agenda also include special addresses by Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, that of Angela Merkel, the Federal Chancellor of Germany, and that  of Pedro Sánchez, the Prime Minister of Spain.
