Justice minister Tharcisse Karugarama (right) has called on Genocide fugitives all over the world to fully embrace the justice process saying this will enable them live consciously.

Karugarama said that instead of living with a guilty heart, the fugitives should come back home and ask for forgiveness because the country is ready to forgive.

"Some have changed names, they undergo plastic surgery, put white hair to their heads but the long arm of the law will still catch up with them.

They should hand themselves to the countries in which they live, give themselves another chance,” Karugarama said during an interview over weekend.

He added that whereas over four hundred thousand mass killers have been tried since Genocide, just a few are in prison while the rest are being reintegrated into the society and others are doing community work.
