Intare FC have tightened their grip at the top of Group B in the country’s second division football league after beating United Stars 3-0 on Sunday at Kicukiro Stadium.

The black-and-white outfit took the lead through midfielder Christian Nisingizwe in the 29th minute before forwards Fidèle Mahoro and Serge Iradukunda Kabanda scored the second and third goals in the 69th and 76th minutes, respectively.

The Group B leaders have 12 points from four matches, two points ahead of second-placed Pepiniere, while Rwamagana are third with seven points.

In the other matches, ASPOR FC played out a goalless draw against Rugende while Gasabo United defeated Akagera 3-2. 

In Pool A, ASPOR lead the table with 10 points from four matches, Vision are in second place after defeating Sec 3-1 on Saturday, while Gasogi Utd are third with 10 points after beating Vision JN FC 2-1 on Saturday.
