Goalkeeper Nicholas Sebwato proved his experience on Thursday afternoon at Kigali Pele Stadium, scoring an unlikely last-gasp header to earn Mukura VS a dramatic 1-1 draw for Mukura VS against Kiyovu Sport in Primus National League week 28 fixture.

It was a very entertaining game with both teams taking delight in maintaining possession in the middle of the field.

On a rainy afternoon, the pitch looked slippery as both teams missed dozens of chances. Kiyovu&039;s attack made up of Alfred Leku and Richard Kilongozi were lively on the day with surging runs into the Mukura vital area.

After recess, the home side dominated possession and took the lead in the 69th minute through Burundian forward Kilongozi.

Mukura created decent chances as they hoped to restore parity but missed them all. The special moment of the game came in the 95th minute.

The visitors had a corner which was cause by substitute Zuber Hakizimana. Goalkeeper Sebwato, who had come to the opponents’ box to attack was left unmarked as he jumped high above his marker to head the ball past Djihad Nzeyurwanda to make it 1-1 at the death.

Mukura remains fourth on the table with 44 points while Kiyovu are seventh with 38 points.
