INTEGRATED Polytechnic Regional Centre Kigali (IPRC-Kigali) will be looking for two points when they take on United Basketball generation (UGB) in the Bank of Kigali National Basketball League at Amahoro Stadium on Friday.

Albert Buhake’s side are in fourth position with 7 points, having won three and lost once in their first four games this term.

IPRC-Kigali, who also finished fourth last season, thrashed struggling University of Rwanda’s College of Arts and Social Sciences (UR-CASS) 115-65 in their last game before Christmas break.

"All the players are fit and in great mood ahead of the game. We will be looking for a crucial win to keep pressure on teams ahead of us,” said head coach Buhake.

"UGB are usually no big threat but I have warned the boys not to underestimate opponents. We won’t take any chances,” he added.

After Friday’s clash against UGB, the Kicukiro-based side will travel to Huye District where they are set to face former Play-off Games winners IPRC-South on Sunday.

Also, on Friday night, champions Patriots will be up against Espoir at the same venue.
