Jimmy Mulisa has warned his APR players of ‘the dangers to be complacent’ following his side’s goalless draw with stragglers Gicumbi at Kigali Stadium on Friday.

It was the second draw for the league champions, who have not lost a game this season. The first draw was against Bugesera a fortnight ago at Nyamata grounds.

"Even though we kept the unbeaten run, it was not the result we wanted. We played the worst of our football so far this term, players know we need a quick reaction to today’s result,” Mulisa said.

Muhadjiri Hakizimana, Lague Byiringiro, Maxime Sekamana, Dominique Savio Nshuti and Mirafa Nizeyimana had chances to score – but, all in vain.

The former Amavubi forward added: "We could have scored more than three goals. I was not impressed with how my players performed.”

Gicumbi had a couple of opportunities to score in the second-half through Lulu Kevin Okenge and Murenzi Patrick, which were both thwarted by goalie Steven Ntalibi.
