Div2 league: Intare beat Etoile de l’Est to keep perfect start

Intare have maintained their perfect start to the 2018-19 second division football league with a second win after beating Etoile de l’Est 2-0 at Kicukiro Stadium on Saturday.

The black and white outfit took the lead through striker Aboul Uwiragiye in the 62th minute before forward Fidele Mahoro scored to double the lead with 12 minutes to clock.

After two match rounds, title holders Intare and Hope FC are joint leaders of Group B with 6 points each, and are followed by third-placed Pepiniere with 4 points. The latter also beat Miroplast 2-0 on Saturday.

Elsewhere in Group B, Hope won 3-0 over former Azam Rwanda Premier League side Rwamagana City.

In Group A, Vision FC overcame Gasabo United in a 1-0 win to go top of the table with a maximum 6 points, while Gasogi – who played out a 1-1 draw with Sorwathe - are in second place with 4 points.
