The Christmas season is looming for the hospitality community. Most businesses have already thought about their Christmas promotion plans and how they can get a share of the Christmas spending season.

Although there is still plenty of time to create new offers and test out new ideas on customers, Park Inn Radisson has already prepared Christmas packages for its customers.

The New Times’ Joseph Mudingu had a one on one with Carsten Gust, the Executive Chef at Park Inn by Radisson about the Christmas season and what the hotel has planned for its customers

A Germany born, Carsten Gust for the last 27 years has enjoyed the life of a Chef that involves supervising and coordinating a great deal of activities in the kitchens in the USA, Ireland, China, Zambia and Rwanda.

According to him, Christmas is traditionally a time for family and children to truly experience all the joy of Christmas by celebrating with friends. The hotel on the 25th December 2018 will prepare a special Christmas brunch with classic dishes like gammon, red cabbages, bread dumplings and special dessert for families and friends.

"Families during this festive season should find time and differ from the usual practices and come to Park Inn by Radisson for a family break away and forget about doing dishes and cooking. We have special offers and entertainments for them and especially the kids. We have a special Christmas Brunch for only 18000 per person and half the price for children above 4-10 years plus a free offer for kids below 4 years” says Gust

At Park Inn by Radisson, the excitement will grow as they enter the hotel only to find a glowing Christmas tree and a perfectly positioned Santa Claus’ poised near a big Ginger bread house in the lobby.

"We have built a big cookie-walled edible house here and I have decorated with foil in addition to gold leaf, candy-studded gingerbread and spiced loaves of cake-like bread. It gives us the feeling that Christmas is here and for the children as well” explained Gust

Ginger bread house originated in Germany during the 16th century. The story that became associated with Christmas tradition became popular when Hansel and Gretel, the main characters in a story stumble upon a Gingerbread house made entirely of treats deep in the forest.

According to Gust, the hotel will not only take care of your dietary needs but will also has other festive season packages  like end of year parties.

"An end of year party is a great way to celebrate with your team for all the hard work or enjoy your holiday with your loved ones here at Park inn.
