Rwanda 0-1 Cleveland Ambassadors

The national women’s football team, She-Amavubi, have turned attention on their second friendly game against American side Cleveland Ambassadors after losing the first match 1-0 at Umuganda Stadium on Monday.

The second game is scheduled for December 8 at Kigali Stadium.

Striker Jordan Fields’ strike in the 28th minute proved to be the difference as Hussein Habimana’s side persistently fought for an equalizer in vain.

The two friendly matches are organized by Rwanda Football Federation (Ferwafa) in partnership with Ambassadors football and ADPER Rwanda.

Besides the friendly matches against She-Amavubi, Cleveland Ambassadors are set to hold training sessions and donate kits to around 300 youngsters in Kigali, Rubavu and Muhanga.

The United States Women’s Football League side jetted in last Friday.
