Gor Mahia Vs Nyasa Big Bullets

Gor Mahia will face Malawian champions Nyasa Big Bullets without star striker Jacques Tuyisenge in the return leg of the CAF Champions’ League preliminary round match on Wednesday.

Last Wednesday, Gor Mahia beat Nyasa Big Bullets 1-0 in Kenya.

Tuyisenge said he sustained an injury on his left foot in November during Amavubi’s 2-2 draw against Central African Republic in the qualifiers for the Afcon 2019 finals in Huye.

"I’m not traveling to Malawi because  I have an injury,” said Tuyisenge

Gor Mahia will return home to Kenya on Thursday ahead of their first league match of the season against Bandari – away to Mombasa on Saturday – and Tuyisinge hopes to play in that game.

Tuyisenge joined Gor in February 2016 from Rwanda’s Police FC for a reported transfer fee of US$40,000 (about Rwf30 million) after he had just captained Amavubi to the quarter-finals of the 4th African Nations Championship staged in Rwanda that year.
