Kutchi Tigers remain unbeaten in the Men’s Division Two 50 over Unimoni Cricket League, after defeating the Titans on Sunday at Kicukiro oval.

Batting first, Kutchi put on 210 runs for 10 wickets in 45.5 over to win by 140 runs thanks to the cheers and performance of  Davis Turinawe a player who managed to reach half a century, when he put on 50 runs off 37 balls and six fours as and three sixes.

His compatriot Jean Claude Dusengumuremyi contributed 21 runs off 22 balls and four fours. In return, Titans fell short when they put on 121/10 in 20.1 overs. Batsman Chauhan Manoj managed 41 runs off 34 balls on top of five fours.

Kutchi Tigers tops the standings with 24 points out of 6 wins in six games.  Titans are second from bottom with only 8 points out of 2 wins in six games.

Kishan Dabasiya posted 38 runs off 74 balls, while Nirav Shah put on a score of 24 runs off 30 balls and Jitendra Halai 21 runs off 18 balls.

In the women Div 1 40 over the fixture, White Clouds CC who won the toss and elected to bat first, continued to maintain their peerless form over the weekend.

They put on 61 for 2 wickets in 13.3 overs to win by 8 wickets, in return while chasing White Clouds only managed 60/10 in 15.2 wickets.

Diane Bimenyimana scored 22 runs off 42 balls not out, while Alice Iku posted 14 runs off 21 balls and Cathia Uwamahoro contributed only 4 runs off 5 balls for Charity. Clouds Veronique Iriho scored 11 runs off 14 balls while finished with 10 runs off 26 balls.

Charity top the standings with 16 points out of 4 wins in 6 games played. They are jointly tied with Indatwa Hampshire. White Clouds are third with 12 points in five games played ahead of strugglers She Guards, who are at the bottom without any point in 5 games.
