Auditors in Rwanda are set to consolidate their expertise with the latest developments in the sector and contribute to the continual improvement of their organization.

This is courtesy of a training slated for Kigali from December 3 to 7 which will help practitioners gain the confidence to effectively audit in accordance with internationally recognized best practices.

The ISO 39001 Lead Auditor training, according to organisers, will help participants to develop the requisite expertise to perform a Road Traffic Safety Management System (RTSMS).

They will grasp the key principles and practices of effective QMS audits in line with ISO 39001 Lead Auditor "Guidelines for auditing management systems”.

According to Dr. Jacob N. Mahina, the Managing Director of M-Services; the company that has orgarnised the trainings that will continue throughout 2019, those targeted for ISO39001 Road Traffic and Safety training are auditors seeking to perform and lead RTSMS.

Auditors, managers or consultants seeking to master the RTSMS audit process, individuals responsible for maintaining conformance with RTSMS requirements, technical experts seeking to prepare for a Road Traffic Safety Management System audit and expert advisors in Road Traffic Safety Management are expected to attend.

"Auditors will be taken through manuals using a step-by-step approach and will be guided through the entire audit process from initiation to follow-up. Over 5 days, they will gain the knowledge and skills required to undertake and lead a successful management systems audit.

"Learn to describe the purpose of an ISO39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System (RTSMS) audit and satisfy third-party certification,” said Mahina.

By the end of the training, they will have acquired the skills to plan, conduct, report and follow up RTSMS audit that establishes conformity and enhances overall organizational performance.

Another training on project management targeting managers, consultants responsible for managing the implementation of projects based on ISO 21500, will take place at Park Inn hotel on the 10th to 14th December 2018.

Expert advisors seeking to gain comprehensive knowledge of the key concepts, individuals involved in Project Management plus professionals seeking to acquire Project Management skills, which will help them to successfully achieve project objectives, will attend the training.
