New AFC Leopards acquisition, goalkeeper Eric ‘Bakame’ Ndayishimiye, is delighted after signing a two-year deal with the Kenyan giants on Friday.

Bakame had been without a club since May after his fallout with Rayon Sports.

He said that he is confident in the decision to join the Leopards and is ready to help the club compete for honors starting with the 2018-19 season, which will start in two weeks.

It is reported that the 30-year old will earn Rwf2m per month, four times of his salary at Rayon Sports.

"I am very excited to join such a big club. I am looking forward to working hard, enjoying football here (in Kenya) and fighting to prove that they made the right choice in signing me,” said Bakame.
