Through your paper, I would like to thank the Ministry of Sports and Culture for organising the African Youth Championship.

It is not an easy task and I believe it took the Ministry a lot of time and effort to organise the competition. I may not be a football fan but owing to the fact that our country hosted this year’s championship, I decided to watch one of the games recently at Amahoro Stadium.

Sports are a good source of revenue and if we host more of these, Rwanda will be getting many opportunities for develop.
Our hotels, for example made alot of money during the tournament.
