Police FC head coach Albert Joel Mphande has urged his players not to underrate lowly Amagaju when the two sides face off on Friday afternoon .

Amagaju host the law enforcers in a match-day 4 encounter at Nyagasenyi Stadium in Nyamagabe District.

Fresh from beating Gicumbi 1-0 on Tuesday, Mphande’s side visit Amagaju aiming for all the three points to keep pressure on leaders APR and Mukura who are yet to drop a point after three games into the 2018-19 season.

Ex-Amavubi forward Peter Otema was the lone scorer on Tuesday.

"I am happy with the progres we are making, we responded well from the opening defeat to AS Muhanga and, hopefully, we will continue in this direction. The game against Amagaju is a must-win if we are to keep pressure on leaders APR and Mukura,” Mphande told Times Sport in an exclusive interview on Thursday.

Ahead of the Amagaju clash, Police are in fifth place with six points, three behind joint leaders APR and Mukura, and two adrift of third and fourth-placed SC Kiyovu and AS Muhanga.
