The 2018/2019 national basketball league will start on November 23, Times Sport has learned.

Prior to the new season, according to Rwanda Basketball Federation (Ferwaba), there will be held a pre-season tournament – on November 9-18 at Amahoro Stadium.

Rwanda Energy Group (REG) won the 2017 pre-season tournament last November before being dethroned by Patriots Basketball Club as league champions in June this year.

The women’s league will start on December 1.
