Conventional thinkers are probably wondering what this is doing in the fashion and beauty pages but trust me I asked myself the same question a number of times and kept getting the same answer, it has everything to do with it.

Think about it, why do we all get all dressed up? A lot of you are probably going like, "To look good…to feel good about yourself” and so on and so forth.

But the bottom line is we all want to be appreciated, and this will result in all those other things. All human beings want to be appreciated in one way or another, think about the effect a simple, "Looking good!” has on a person. I for one would be beaming from such a compliment.

Well, back to my title, this was all inspired by a simple lip gloss. But it’s not just any ordinary lip gloss; it’s a flavoured lip gloss, one that will have you licking you lips from time to.

Most of us think lip gloss and we immediately associate it with dry lips and thus are usually thinking moisturiser, but we forget shimmer, sheer sexy, sultry all of which can be got from a simple bottle of lip gloss.

We forget the promises to plump your lips. The shimmer that comes with it and the promise to make your lips look more defined. This is usually all over the bottle, wonder how you might have missed that!

However, all this does not beat the tasty flavoured lip gloss that combines all the above and throws in an extra advantage, the flavour.

Nadine, a friend of mine who is actually addicted to these magic filled bottles, told me a story that will make most of you sisters out there run to the nearest cosmetic store.

She said that ever since she started using the flavoured lip gloss she has not been able to keep ‘the boys’ away, particularly from her lips. Hmmmm!

Not only does it taste nice it smells nice as well and keeps people thinking you smell like fruit or you are eating fruit because most of the flavours are fruity. I

t even beats the mints people are constantly sucking on to keep their breath fresh or the famous "PK” gum. Trust me ladies a simple bottle of flavoured lip gloss comes with a lot of promise. However, beware of fakes.

This could be translated to mean stay away from cosmetics from Remera Taxi Park, or any other market and try nice cosmetic stores like NEJA.
