Espoir sign eight players ahead of new season

ESPOIR FC have signed four new players and extended contracts of four others to reinforce their squad ahead of the forthcoming 2018-19 season, which is scheduled to start on October 19.

According to Francois Habimana, the club’s Secretary General, all the eight signed a two-year contract each.

The quartet of Govin Mutombo, Massoudi Merci Ntagungira, Sudi Murangira and Hussein Yongo Renzaho extended their contracts. The new signings include; Japan Schadrack, from Pépinière, Sadi Nkunzimana and Salim Ndayisenga, from Gicumbi, as well as Hussein Ndayishimiye, from Bugesera.

"We are happy with our new signings, we have confidence in each of the eight players. We hope to finalise deals with a few more players before next season,” said Habimana.

It is reported that the Rusizi-based side are also in talks with Mwemere Ngirinshuti, Rodriguez Patrice Buregeya, and Jean Dushimumugenzi to extend their contracts.
