Local singing duo Dream Boys are on cloud nine following an invitation to perform at The East African Chamber of Commerce (EACC) dinner that will take place on October 13 in Dallas, Texas, in the United States  of America.

Speaking to The New Times about the invitation, Claude Mujyanama, known by the stage name TMC, the one half of Dream Boys, could not hide his excitement, noting that being invited to perform at a such high profile event indicates that the group is now a force to reckon with in the East African region music industry.

"We are extremely excited about this opportunity to be at this important dinner. We are looking forward to entertain the attendees,” said Mujyanama, adding, "The invitation confirms that we have become a force to reckon with on the regional music scene.”

He added that this will be their first time to perform in America, having previously performed in Europe and different African countries.

"This will be our first performance in America and we expect to give our best, just as we have done in other countries like France and Belgium, we shall leave the guests yearning for more,” he noted

The dinner, that will take place at The Omni Mandalay Las Colinas hotel ,will mark the end of a three-day event where various speakers including Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi, and others will discuss multilateral and bilateral how to forge deeper relationships via investment, trade and innovation.
