Kamichi is now a father

Rwandan U.S.-based singer Kamichi’s wife this week gave birth to a baby girl, barely three months after the two tied knot. The singer confirmed the news on Tuesday.

On his Instagram, the Afrobeat singer posted a picture of the new born baby and captioned: ‘‘Karla Karabo Bagabo was born on September 18, 2018 at 7:30. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”

Kamichi, real name Adolphe Bagabo, tied the knot few months ago with an American native identified as Emely Dubois in what seemed to be a secret function. It all took place in Knoxville, Tennessee.

We wish them the best.

Young Grace is engaged

Local female rapper Young Grace must be the happiest woman at the moment as she recently said yes to her boyfriend at a surprise proposal that came as she celebrated her birthday with family and friends. The two lovebirds have, of late, been over the moon, with the singer spilling their relationship to the press and on social media. The man in question is Hubert Rwabuhihi, a soccer player in the second division. We wish the couple the best of luck.

Pacifique Gihozo: The new kid of the block

Rwanda’s music industry is steadily attracting new faces, most of them being young female talented singers. This time, the new kid on the block is Pacifique Gihozo, a young energetic female singer.

To prove that she is serious about her new career, the songstress, in her early twenties, just released two songs in a row–both of which came out with video clips.

Gihozo was recently signed to KIKAC, a new music label based in Kigali, where she managed to release ‘Ku Izima’. The audio and video was produced by Iyzo and Meddy Saleh respectively.

Chameleone and Daniella end marriage

East Africa’s renowned musician Jose Chameleone finally announced his divorce with long-time wife, Daniella Atim. No one saw this coming but going with reactions on social media, it seems the two have not been at good terms for long.

Daniella, who has been married to the singer for nine years, filed for divorce in 2017. She accused her husband of cruelty, saying he would beat and humiliate her even in the presence of their five children.

The Ugandan artiste, real name Joseph Mayanja, posted on his social media pages that he had to make a decision, however heart-breaking it is.

The post, which attracted a lot of people’s attention, partly stated: "I am single and not searching!! I will be the last man standing. I let you be Daniella. God bless you always”.

Zari to celebrate birthday with fans in London

South African-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan’s birthday last year could have been her worst as she was at her lowest. It was the year she learned of her then husband’s with Tanzanian video vixen Hamisa Mobetto, and that she was carrying his baby. The entrepreneur, however, seems to be getting over it.

As she turns 38 in a couple of days, news going around is that the mother of five will be in the UK on her birthday eve to host ‘The Bosslady London All White Party’ that will be held at the Kings Bull Luxury Lounge in London, United Kingdom. She will, on her birthday, be in Northampton where she will be celebrating her special day with fans.
