Rayon Sports midfielder Yannick Mukunzi and Bugesera striker Bernabe Mubumbyi are set to seal moves to Sweden second division side Sundvikens IF.

Mukunzi and Mubumbyi left the country for Sweden yesterday, and are reportedly going to train with the team for three weeks under rigorous trials until their fate is decided – whether they will be offered contracts or return to their respective clubs.

"Playing professional football is every player’s dream, we hope we realise ours with Sundvikens IF. We will have three weeks of trials, and we will do all we can to earn contracts,” Mukunzi told Times Sport before the duo’s departure.

Mukunzi started his career with APR where he won several titles with the military side before crossing to rivals Rayon Sports at the end of the 2015-16 season. On the other hand, former teammate Mubumbyi has featured for APR, AS Kigali and Bugesera in the league.
