Rayon Sports striker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana is confident the Blues can overcome Nigerian outfit Enyimba FC when the sides face off in the first-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup’s last eight tie at Kigali Stadium on Sunday.

The in-form Bimenyimana says he is unmoved by the reputation and success of the Nigerian giants.

"We know we are facing a good side but we believe it’s possible to score as many goals as we need from our backyard. Underestimating us would be at their own risk – and hopefully a good advantage for us,” Bimenyimana said.

He added that, "We have had big games this year during the earlier rounds and the group stage, we are not scared at all. It is definitely going to be tough call, but we are ready. We defied the odds to reach quarter-finals, and the journey continues.”

Meanwhile, Enyimba striker Mfon Udoh has warned his teammates that they cannot, and should not, underrate Rayon Sports despite the club’s humble track of record in CAF competitions.

"We have done well by reaching the quarter finals, but this stage is more important. It would be reckless to underrate an opponent. We will play both games (against Rayon Sports) with a lot of seriousness and determination,” said the 26-year old.
