Volleyball: Rwanda begin quest for African Champs glory against Tunisia

Rwanda vs Tunisia 5pm

The national U-21 men’s volleyball team take on Tunisia tonight as they begin their chase for the African Championship glory in Abuja, Nigeria. The game starts at 6PM CAT.

Following Tuesday’s technical meeting, Rwanda has been drawn in Group A alongside the hosts Nigeria, Tunisia and Cameroon. Group B includes; Egypt, Chad, DR Congo and Morocco.

After the Tunisia clash today, Rwanda will be up against Nigeria Thursday before locking horns with Cameroon on Friday.

The best two teams from each pool will proceed to semi-finals, battling to secure slots to the final. The champions and beaten finalists will automatically book tickets to represent Africa at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship to be staged in Bahrain.
