The ‘Impinduka’ singer, real name Aline Buzindu, recently announced that she is signed to Decent Entertainment run by Muyoboke, a move she says will help revive her music career which has in the last two years been on a downward trend.
There has been speculation that she could have quit the music industry but the singer whose last hit song was ‘Ni Uwanjye’ in 2016 told The New Times that she has actually been in the studio recording audios, some of which she has been shooting videos, but has been struggling for promote her music.
"I did not quit music as many fans think. Actually after ‘Ni Uwanjye’ in 2016, I recorded a couple of songs and shot videos for a number of them but I couldn’t release them as promoting them was difficult,” she noted.
She adds that she hopes joining Decent Entertainment,
which has in the past successfully managed artistes, including Charly na Nina, will get her back to the top charts on both local and regional scenes.
"Since I already have audios recorded and some videos, Decent Entertainment will basically deal with promotion of these songs on the local and international scene first before I get back to the studios to record more songs,” she said
Allioni has signed a three-year renewable contract with the record label.
The singer, whose collaboration ‘Umusumari’ with celebrated Ugandan producer cum singer Washington Ebangit rocked airwaves across the region has under her new record label already released a new single titled ‘Hahandi’
The single, which was released last week, is slowly picking up.
