Rwanda international Djihad Bizimana is on the FC Kryvbas' six-man shortlist of nominees vying for the player of the month award for March.

Bizimana, 27, was outstanding in March for Kryvbas playing four league games and scoring once.

Right after his side lost 5-2 to title rivals Shakhtar Donetsk on March 3, the midfielder has been at the heart of the team’s redemption, helping them claim a 1-0 win over Obolon on March 9, before capping a man-of-the-match performance with a last-minute goal against Kolos Kovalivka on March 16.

The Amavubi skipper ended the month with another impressive performance in Kryvbas’ 3-0 win over Veres Rivne over the weekend.

The midfielder faces stiff opposition for Prince Adu, Andriy Klitsjchuk, Daniel Sowah and Tymur Steskov who all had an outstanding month in the Ukrainian league.

This is the second time Bizimana has been nominated for the player of the month this season with his first being in December 2023.
