Uganda and Kenya recorded impressive victories on the third day of action in the International Cricket Council World T20 Africa B qualifiers on Tuesday, as the tournament reached its halfway mark.
Kenya blew Tanzania out the park, to remain the only unbeaten team in the competition with six points out of three games played so far.
In the opening march of the double header, Kenyan Samba’s easily chased down the target of 119 set by Tanzania.
Kenya took the favorites just 8.3 overs to get the job done, after blitzing their opposition.
Tanzania was restricted to just 118 runs all out, bowled out with two balls to spare in their 20 overs.
Yet again, it was the nagging accuracy of Shem Ngoche that did the damage, as he assisted himself to three for 23 runs in his spell of four overs.
The only resistance from the Tanzanians came from Jatin Chandubhahi, who made a belligerent 52 from 38 balls.

In the second match played on the same, Rwanda shortcoming were brought to searing lift by Uganda, in another lopsided results.
Uganda racked up another big total to continue their fine form during the tournament, notching 204 for four. Ronak Patel contributed 65 runs from 47 balls, while his teammate Dinesh Nakrani posted 74 runs from 44 balls.
Uganda’s stand of 135 took the match too far from the clutches of Rwanda, who were in big trouble early on, as they lost six wickets for the addition of just one run, to crash from 22 for three to 23 for nine.
It was a procession of wickets, with Mohammed Irfan snatching five for 12 in his four overs, while Riazat Ali Shah chipped in with three for 10 in three overs.
The competition continues today with Tanzania taking Uganda, while Kenya battles Rwanda.
Thursday, 12th July will be a resting day for the teams.
