HARAMBEE Starlets coach David Ouma has revealed his final squad for the upcoming 2018 Cecafa Women Senior Challenge that is slated on July 19-27 at Kigali Stadium in Kigali City.

Kenya will play their first game against Uganda on July 19.

In the two sides’ last meeting, in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Kenya beat Uganda 1-0.

The five confirmed nations for this year’s tournament include hosts Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia. The title will be contested for, by the five nations playing in a league format to determine the eventual champion.

Rwanda opens her account against Tanzania on Thursday July 19, at 16:15pm – at Kigali Stadium.

The Rwandan ladies will be back to action on Monday July 23 when they host Ethiopia at 16:15, then face Uganda on Wednesday July 25 before concluding their campaign on Friday July 27 against Kenya.

Kenya will face Tanzania in second game on July 21 before taking on Ethiopia four days later.

The overall winner will be crowned champions of the 2018 Cecafa Women Challenge Cup. Tanzania won the title in 2016 after edging Kenya in the final while Ethiopia overcame hosts Uganda to take third place.
