Tanzania Vodacom Premier League side Biashara United Mara have appointed former Rayon Sports coach Thierry Hitimana as their new head coach on a two-year contract until the end of 2020, with an option for renewal.

The newly promoted Biashara United was established in 2013.

Hitimana who parted ways with Azam Rwanda Premier League side Bugesera, inked a two-year agreement on Monday worth Rwf 2,150,000 (US$2,500) of salary per month.

The 37-year-old tactician becomes the third Rwandan coach joining the Tanzania topflight league after Ally Bizimungu who was signed by Mwadui FC last December and Jean Baptiste Kayiranga who joined Alliance Sports Club in May.

Previously, Thierry Hitimana coached Musanze, AS Kigali, Rayon Sports and the national team in the capacity of assistant coach.
