Romans 3:2 says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin is anything you do, say or think that God says is wrong. Lying, disobidience, bad attitudes, hating and cheating all create a wall between you and God.
God loves you and wants you to live with Him. God’s beautiful home is called Heaven. But there cannot be any sin in Heaven—not even one sin!
Since God loves you so much, he sent His perfect Son Jesus, to earth to take care of your sin problem. Jesus took the punishment for your sin by dying on the cross. Jesus was buried but after three days, God made Him alive again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
