While Kigali boasts of being the cleanest city, having the ‘best road network in the East Africa region,” Nyabugogo, our biggest park is in a sorry state.

The park is one of the dirtiest places I have been to in Kigali. First of all, there are uncountable potholes that make the place so messy when it rains.

Secondly the dust in the area makes you hate the park. We should not forget that a big number of visitors to Rwanda travel by bus. These may have a bad impression about Rwanda when they look at Nyabugogo Taxi Park in that terrible state.

I therefore request the Ministry of Infrastructure to consider rehabilitating this park as a priority project this year.
