The Shortcut to Happiness

Happiness is about giving. This life is an assignment and true joy comes from accomplishing the tasks assigned to us by the Almighty who gives and takes away life. You can spend your life trying to get the most out of it, use your energy for the sole benefit of looking after yourself and those you love since there’s so little to give anyway!

But once you connect with God, he will show you how to accomplish the tasks he assigns you here on earth and give you a sense of true achievement. It is no mean task but with it comes the everlasting peace of mind and hope for the eternal life so well emphasised in the book of life (Holy Bible).

Those who do not believe may spend all their lives toiling for the short term happiness and try to enjoy life -but without accomplishing the mission of God in your life YOU’LL NEVER BE TRUELY HAPPY.

Why toil on your own here on earth while God is reaching His hand out to help you in everything and end up miss God’s offer of eternal life!

Fortunately for those who seek God’s will, he has many things in store for them as he declares in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Remember what Jesus said when Apostle Peter asked him what he had in store for those who followed him selflessly? (Mathew 19:27-30) According to verse 29 such people would receive a hundred fold here on earth and inherit eternal life.

Start by asking God what he sent you here on earth for. Ask Jesus Christ into your life and start enjoying life with him in full control. It’s never too late!!!

Do you know the shortcut? Read John 14: 1-6. "Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and life; no one comes to God, the father except through him....”Why should we spend all our energies seeking the wrong things when God has everything in store for us?

I don’t know about you but am tired of revolving around the same point trying to figure out things my way. Am taking the shortcut!!!
