What is going on with Mc Tino?
Former TBB member, MC Tino is rumoured to have been warming up to the idea of ‘tying the knot’ with his girlfriend sometime this year; however, that dream is alleged to have been squashed by financial problems.
In the recent past, this singer disclosed that he was involved in a number of farming activities, and of course there were emceeing gigs and music to bring in some more money. However, the gossip mill’s latest spin is that the artiste’s business ventures might be taking a hit, and so any plans to get married have been put on hold.
Last week we shared rumours about TBB getting back together; however, Tino was said to be hesitant about the idea of a reunion. If this financial crisis rumour holds any water, perhaps a TBB reunion might not be such a bad idea as teamwork usually yields great results.

Uncle Austin’s helping hand strikes again
UncleAustin has once again publicly claimed that he was the force behind another upcoming singer, Marina.
Marina is a female musician trying to change the face of the industry that has for long been dominated by men.
We are told that the renowned radio personality and artiste claims to have been behind many artistes’ rise.
He said that they first met on his daily radio talk show on Kiss FM where Marina called in to sing for Rwf50, 000, a short singing session on the show. He said that he later reached out to her and took her to the studio to record her first song.
Uncle Austin is known for this kind of thing — with people on social media claiming that he is always seeking for attention by trying to take credit for other people’s work. Is this true? We do not know, but like we said, it isn’t the first time the artiste has said he ‘helped a struggling artiste’.

Vera Sidika threatens to sue blogger for Ksh5 million over false story
A certain blogging site has angered Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika after they posted a story that said she had dumped her boyfriend Otile Brown, a musician, after noticing she had deleted all their photos together. They further claimed that the socialite used the singer for fame to revive her dwindling socialite career while on the other hand Brown was very serious about the relationship.
On seeing this, Sidika got extremely angry and said the story was very false. She even went ahead to rant on Instagram threatening to sue the blogging site for Ksh5 million.

Why did Eddy Kenzo miss Wembley performance?
Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo was on Saturday June 2 slated to perform at the SSE Arena, Wembley, London, alongside some of Africa’s finest stars, including Jose Chameleone and Diamond Platnumz.
Kenzo was super excited about his performance in London but the excitement was cut short after realising that he was going to miss out on yet another world stage. On the eve of his long awaited performance, Kenzo posted on Facebook that he was down with malaria and apologised to his fans for letting them down.
However, rumour has it that the Sitya Loss singer was denied a visa. Which is which?

Diamond to make acting debut
It is safeto say that renowned Tanzanian musician, Diamond Platnumz, is the ultimate bad boy. He has dated several women openly, and fooled around with a couple of others while in a relationship.
He dated former Miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu and allegedly cheated on her like his life depended on it, and had an affair with Tanzanian socialite and video vixen Hamisa Mobetto while he was in a relationship with Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan, whom he has two kids with, to mention a few.
It looks like the artiste’s transgressions might have inspired the making of a film; we are told that the Bongo flavour star is set to make his acting debut in a mini series titled ‘A Womaniser’, alongside his baby mama Mobetto.
Word has it that when Diamond was arrested in April for sharing explicit videos on social media, the videos were extracts from the upcoming film that is set to air on his Wasafi TV.
Diamond is reportedly pleased with the role he was given because ‘it suits his character in real life perfectly’.
Speaking of transgressions, it is rumoured that Mobetto is not happy with Diamond after the video of his song Iyena came out.
It is said that Mobetto was under the impression that she was next in the dating line after his relationship with Zari ended. However, the music video that features Zari as Diamond’s bride seemed to have rubbed Mobetto the wrong way.
Taking to her social media pages, Mobetto blamed the artiste for her anguish. She asked him to ‘man up’ and make the necessary decisions in his life.
In the post, Mobetto went on about Zari being the ‘preferred candidate’ by Diamond’s family and fans.
Released on Friday, the video drew various reactions from fans that are hopeful the former lovebirds (Diamond and Zari) will reconcile.
