Jay Polly and Davido getting ready to give their fans something new

Nigerian singer Davido was here in March this year as part of his ‘30 Billion Tour’ concert. He came and he conquered!

But beyond this, he revealed his immense love for local rapper Jay Polly’s music. He actually disclosed that he fell in love with his hip-hop music way too back before he knew any other Rwandan artiste. He went ahead to announce that they would collaborate on a project.

However, there is been a lot of rumours in the show-business with the public saying that the music project might have died after the two musicians had completely went silent.

But news reaching us is that the two actually completed recording the song, which according to our sources was named ‘Money’. Word has it that the shooting of the video clip is expected to take place in Nigeria.

It is not yet clear when the two would start shooting or when the official song would be released. What is a sure deal, however, is that this can take the Rwandan hi-hop singer to another stage, leveraging Davido’s popularity in the region.

It will take quite some clear strategic plan and a little bit of energy investment for Jay Polly to reap dividend from this music collabo, as previous local artistes’ collaborations with several regional musicians have not helped them a lot.

Ama G The Black’s wife is pregnant

Rapper Ama-G The Black is once again excited. The singer’s wife has revealed that she’s pregnant, showing off her baby bump to the world. Many fans seemed excited, going by the comments rounding on internet.

The Black, who tied the knot with Liliane Uwase in December last year, is supposedly the happiest man as he awaits his new baby.

The seemingly happy wife shared her picture on Instagram, showcasing her bump, and people were quick to tell that Uwase is a few months away from giving birth to their first born. Their loyal fans can’t seem to hide their excitement on internet.

The singer engaged Uwase a little over five months ago after he had part ways with another lady who he had dated for many years, something that drew criticisms.

The announcement of his wife’s pregnancy comes days after the singer had said that he was looking forward to a new chapter in life to seriously focus on his family business as well as music.

Meddy and secret love have been spending time in Mexico

US-based Rwandan singer has had the time of his life, especially for the more than seven years he has spent in the United States of America.

The rhythm and blues musician’s music career has been growing over time. His time in the U.S. has also been an added value as he managed to make quality music, which got the attention of the diaspora and other music lovers.

But a few people barely heard about the singer’s private life. Unlike many celebrities, Meddy hardly shares with the public his private life. And, for quite some time, he had denied that he is in relationship with anyone.

However, when he returned home sometime last year, the musician said that he was dating someone even though he did not disclose who that person was.

What we know now is that the singer has been on a holiday with his secret lover who’s only identified as Mehfira. Meddy has been sharing a series of his pictures on the beach but he did not share the photos of who he was spending time with.

Word has it that he has actually been spending some good time with Mehfira on the sandy beaches of Mexico.

Charly na Nina successfully starts their Europe tour

Rwandan all-female group Charly na Nina has kicked off their European tour. This is the second tour they having on the same continent following what they had last year when they were joined by local singer Deejay Pius.

Last week, the duo of Charly and Nina jetted in Brussels, Belgium, and over the weekend they staged a powerful performance at Birmingham Palace, a show that attracted many Rwandans in the diaspora and their friends.

The ladies will this weekend be heading to France where they are expected to hold two shows in the cities of Lille and Paris. Later, the group will head to Geneva in Switzerland and Stockholm in Sweden.

The group’s tour comes days after they had split with their now former manager Alex Muyoboke. Many thought the group would not easily move on, but it looks like they are even more determined, even though it is not known whether they will be hiring another management.
