Rwamagana Football club will be hoping for a ticket to the playoffs of the second division football league when they take on Vision FC today in their last group encounter. 

The two Group A rivals face off this afternoon at Mumena stadium in Nyamirambo.

Should the former topflight league side win, they will automatically land a top-four finish in the pool and a spot in quarterfinal playoffs.

Ahead of today’s clash, Rwamagana are fifth in the group with 33 points, three adrift of fourth-placed Etoile de l’Est.  

In Group A, unbeaten Sorwathe top the table standings with 50 points, Pepiniere are second with 46points, while Unity FC are third with 39 points. The three teams have all qualified for the knock-out stage. 

In Group B, former Peace Cup finalists AS Muhanga top the standings with 41 points, Intare FC are in second with 40 points, eight points ahead of third-placed Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle.

Heroes FC complete top four with 31 points from 19 games.
