It will be a battle of egos as reigning champions APR and former champions Police meet in the ongoing national handball league this morning at Kimisagara court .

It is a clash that neither side wishes to lose, with a lot at stake for both sides. While the law enforcers seek to win the league title for the first time since 2015, the military side also want to retain the championship.

Police top the table with 21 points, three ahead of rivals and holders APR. A win for the latter will see them unseat Police.

APR Coach Anaclet Bagirishya said in an interview that’ "We are prepared enough for the toughest league game of the season, we will play it as all our chances for the title depend on it.”

Elsewhere, third-placed Inyemeramihigo entertain eighth-placed Inkumburwa while Munyove will be up against bottom-side University of Rwanda – Huye Campus.
