The Rwanda football governing body, Ferwafa has informed Rayon Sports that their match against AS Kigali which was supposed to be played on October 11, 2022 has been postponed, because the City of Kigali sponsored team will be participating in the CAF Confederation Cup tie.

A letter addressed to AS Kigali by Rayon Sports, signed by the Ferwafa Secretary General, Henry Muhire states that this match has been postponed because AS Kigali will play two CAF Confederations Cup matches on October 8 and 16, so they will not be able to play in the day 5 league match.

"Based on the CAF Confederation Cup match AS Kigali has against El Nasr on October 8, in Huye and October 14, in Libya, it is unlikely that the team will be able to play in the match of day 5 league game, because it coincides with the trip to Libya,” the Ferwafa statement stated.
