Rwanda’s U20 Junior Wasps head coach Vincent Mashami has urged his young guns to remain focused ahead of their next 2019 Total AFCON qualification round against defending champions Zambia slated for May 11.

Rwanda will host the first leg on Friday, May 11 before the second leg in Zambia on May 18.  

On Saturday, Rwanda and Kenya played out a barren draw in Kigali, which saw the former progress to the second round thanks to their away goal in a one-all draw in Nairobi a fortnight ago. 

"I urge the boys to remain focused ahead of Zambia as our aim is to reach the finals,” Mashami said after Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Kenya. The winners from the second round will qualify for the February 24-March 10 U20 Total AFCON finals tournament in Niger.
