Police FC head coach Innocent Seninga will be hoping his team can have a good second half of the season after a poor showing in the first round where they lost six league matches.

Seninga’s team is under pressure to finish in the top 4 but they face a Mukura side which is a point behind them and is in good form.

"It is always bad to lose games when you want to close the gap against the top teams, but we need to turn things around and I hope we start tomorrow,” coach Seninga said.

Police will draw comfort in the fact that they have not lost to today’s opponents in the last three seasons but Seninga says the Huye based side has improved a lot this season and has warned his players not to rely so much on their previous meetings.

"Yes, we have a good record against Mukura but they have improved and are playing very well,” the former Kiyovu and Etincelles coach noted.

Christian Haringingo of Mukura agrees that their previous head to head encounters will not mean much and asked his players to take advantage of their opponents’ recent bad form.

APR are leading the league table with 31 points, one point ahead of Rayon Sports, while AS Kigali are in third place with 29 points, one ahead of SC Kiyovu.
