The top teams in the second division football league Pool B, Intare FC and AS Muhanga will face-off on matchday 16 on Saturday at Ferwafa grounds.

Emmanuel Rubona’s Intare FC (APR academy) lead the pool with 36 points, eight points ahead of second-placed AS Muhanga, who walloped bottom side SEC Academy 8-0 last week.

"Every match is important because they all account for three points. The players know the importance of the game so we must go there for a win,” said Rubona.

His counterpart, Abdul Mbarushimana said that; "We need to win the game against Intare FC in order to reduce the gap at the top.”

Victory for AS Muhanga will reduce the gap on Intare to five points but defeat will mean falling 11 points behind.

In Pool A: Rulindo district-based Sorwathe FC, who lead the table with 40 points from 17 matches, will face Nyagatare FC at Kinihira ground, while Pepiniere will face Esperance FC at Mumena grounds.
