A host of renowned gospel choirs in the Rwandan gospel music industry have been confirmed on the list of artists who will headline the forthcoming Ewangelia Easter Celebration Concert slated for March 31 at BK Arena.

Organized by Rwanda Bible Association, the concert promises to offer a special occasion for worshipers and believers to celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection through divine musical festivities.

It also aims at providing Christians with a meaningful worship experience during the Easter celebration, a significant occasion for believers.

Ambassadors of Christ, Christus Regnat, Jehovah Jireh, Shalom choir and Alarm Ministries are five top gospel choirs leading the lineup of performers that will grace the gospel music extravaganza. More artists, local and international, will be announced in the next few days as organisers look to make the full lineup official as soon as it is ready.

Nicodeme Nzahoyankuye, one of the concert organizers, told The New Times that he anticipates a concert that can transform into a haven of spiritual melodies and a gathering for a noble cause.

"It's not just about music but also about recognizing the importance of the Bible. The proceeds from ticket sales will contribute to supporting the Rwanda Bible Association, which strives to distribute the Holy Bible across the country,” Nzahoyankuye said in an interview.

He urged gospel lovers, and believers in general, to attend the Eastern celebration concert and support the Bible Association’s efforts in spreading the Word of God.

"I look forward to their presence and I believe their support will resonate in the hearts of those who work to spread the message of the Bible throughout Rwanda,” he said.

Entrance fees will be communicated in the next few days, organisers said.
