Ntawanga for Miss US International

Some people think Rwandans are shy and afraid to ‘get out of their bubble’, but that is far from true.

A young Rwandan called Au’lionne Agatako Ntawanga has decided to try her luck at this year’s Miss US International pageant.

Ntawanga left Rwanda for the United States last year after she applied for a Green Card and succeeded. She is currently a student and a cashier at a supermarket. We are told that the 21-year-old passed the initial auditions impressively.

The former student of Groupe Scolaire Notre dame d’Afrique will take part in the pageant to be held Friday, June 29, 2018 in Florida. We wish her all the best.

Chameleone’s wife criticised for nude pregnancy photoshoot 

Pregnancy photoshoots are the in-thing, more so nude ones. From celebrated tennis player Serena Williams to socialite and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, women everywhere have embraced the trend, and African women are not ones to be left behind. Even though considered ‘taboo’ by many traditionalists,

many African women are not afraid to show off their baby bumps. The latest ‘daredevil’ is none other than celebrated Ugandan musician Jose Chameleon’s wife, Daniella Atim.

Atim released her nude pregnancy photos this week, sending social media on fire!

She wore nothing but body painting, and posed in different angles. People, however, are shaming her and calling these photos nothing but nude pictures, the ones slay queens are notorious for.

But her husband was quick to defend her. Via Instagram, Chameleone complimented his wife using the same pictures captioned, "Great piece of Andreon Atim”.

Atim is currently in the US where she went to deliver the couple’s fifth child.

Knowless and Clement in London

It pays to be a celebrated singer or big music producer, as seen in the lives of Knowless and Clement Ishimwe.

Word reaching us is that the couple is on holiday in London, England. Word has it that the family of three left this week but ‘silently’.

Friends of the couple seem not to have been aware of the couple’s plans.

We are told that the two are chasing music deals, which at the moment are not disclosed, so it only made sense that they would try to kill two birds with one stone — work on vacation.

Knowless, real name Jeanne Ingabire Butera, recently shone at the HIPipo Music Award when she took home the accolade for Rwanda Video of the Year — Uzagaruka. Clearly the couple had something to celebrate.

The two last went to London during their honeymoon. It looks like London has been good to them.

A broke man doesn’t deserve a woman - Eric Omondi

Kenyan humourist Eric Omondi shocked people when he savagely replied to a fan who was complaining about his ‘leech’ for a lover. As a joke, presumably, Omondi stated that ‘broke men do not deserve to be loved by any woman’. One of his followers then suggested that Chantal, the comedian’s bae, was only with him because of his fame and money and not for love, something that didn’t sit well with the revered entertainer and MC. It was added that Chantal is just waiting for the right time to dump the comedian and that the fact that she hasn’t been ‘knocked up’ yet is a red flag that should worry him deeply.

Omondi took to Instagram on Thursday to dedicate a sweet message to his girlfriend. However, some people still insisted on the money-based relationship.

It is evident that the comedian is crazy about his girlfriend; going by the crazy stunts he pulls for her — like billboards of her on her birthday and what have you.

Despite gold digging allegations, the couple has managed to maintain a long-standing relationship. We wish them well!

The music industry might be welcoming a new member, if rumours circulating turn out to be true. Kate Peyton, real name Kate Bashabe, may be considering a career in music.

The rumour mill’s latest spin is that the fashionista and socialite will feature in a song that will bring together renowned artistes The Ben, Meddy, Christopher Muneza, and Riderman.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, insiders say that is low key for now. We are told that some of the artistes have already started recording their parts and that Producer Bob Pro is behind it.
