Ndizeye (21) and Steven Hagumintwari (13 points) combined for a total 34 points which are crucial to lifting Patriots to their fourth victory in a row.

Aristide Mugabe was playing against his former side for the first time since he switched to Kepler in January after seven successful seasons at the club during which they won together five championships.

The veteran and Chad Bowie Jordan scored 14 points each respectively, but it wasn’t enough to spare Mandy Juruni’s side.

In other matches, Rwanda Energy Group (REG) overwhelmed Orion 106-63, while Espoir defeated Kigali Titans 81-60. Both games were also held at BK Arena.

REG and Patriots lead the pack with 8 points apiece but the former top the standings courtesy of a better score average, Espoir are third with 6 points while Kepler are in fourth place with 6 points.
