Gender-based corruption is a very important issue that cannot be neglected. While condemning it, we need to call a spade a spade and not talk in “tongues”, which means that nobody will clearly understand the issues being discussed.

Everyone quoted in the article avoided mentioning the exact issues of concern other than mentioning gender-based corruption only which is so broad that it can be interpreted differently by different readers.
There is talk of professors who make female students pass exams and get university degrees in exchange for sex. There is talk of lectures that help female students with their dissertations.
This is not new in our region—the difference is that Rwandans are so reserved.
Something needs to be done if we are to avoid having an un-baked or half- baked workforce.
