RE: "Keep motorcycles off our sidewalks!” (The New Times, March 9).

I have also been appalled to see this behaviour and many other instances of wanton contraventions of traffic rules and regulations by taxi-motos. If the authorities do not deal with it while they still can we may expect Kigali to become like any other lawless cities in some neighbouring countries where anything goes. Generalised lawlessness in many cases always begins like this and, left unchecked, spreads to other areas and spheres of life.
