Silent Disco

Wind down the week’s stress at the Silent Disco that will have six DJs, including two from Uganda, playing only your favourite music. Head to the rooftop of Chic Building this Friday; the party starts at 6pm for Rwf 5,000. There will be lots of drinks and Nyama Choma.

‘My name is Life’ book launch

Karen Bugingo will be launching her book ‘My name is Life’ today at the Kigali Convention Centre starting at 6pm. Come and listen to her inspiring story on how she survived cancer.

Icyeza’s ‘Wrap It Up’

Icyeza is a head wrap collection in cotton fabric in Rwanda made to inspire and empower women to express their uniqueness and beauty.

There will be a workshop tomorrow at Impact Hub, where you can learn the basic skills and techniques of head wrapping using African fabrics. Each attendee will leave with a beautiful head wrap. The event starts at 3pm and ends at 6pm.

Battle of the Bands

Four of Kigali’s best bands, Neptunez, Million Dollar, Micho, and Best Beat will battle it out on stage this Saturday at Kigali Marriott Hotel starting at 5pm. One band will be crowned winner. Come support your favourite band and enjoy great drinks, food, and music. Entrance fee is Rwf 5,000.

Movies

Have fun with family and friends as you watch the latest movies; Black Panther, Strong, Monster Family, and Veerey Ki Wedding are showing this weekend at Century Cinema, Kigali located at Kigali City Tower.

Night clubs

If you are a disco person and wondering where to hang out this weekend, worry not. Kigali has a number of night clubs where you can dance the night away, including O-Zone, The Junction, Masters Lounge, Chillax Lounge, K-Club, Envy Club, People’s Club and Ogopogo.
