AFTER humiliating visitors Anse Réunion of Seychelles in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round on Sunday, APR assistant coach Didier ‘Saibok’ Bizimana has said that they have not done anything yet.

APR beat Anse Réunion 4-0, as the military side ensured a bright start to their continental campaign in front of their fans at Amahoro National Stadium.

Former APR centre back Bizimana said that they have won the first leg but they need to make sure that they prepare well for the second leg in order to eliminate Anse Réunion in Seychelles next week.

"We need to win the second leg, that’s why we are going for the preparations again. We have set up ourselves nicely to win two games at home and away, which will give us confidence, especially the players,” Bizimana said.

APR FC midfielder Djihad Bizimana grabbed a hat-trick as the Rwandan side put four past the visitors. It was his first hat trick.

Bizimana, 21, netted in the 12th, 70th and 90th minutes while Isaa Bigirimana scored the other goal in the 78th minute.

Should APR progress from this round, they will face Djoliba of Mali who qualified to the next stage without kicking a ball after Liberia’s Elwa United pulled out of the tournament at the last minute due to financial problems.

Since they made their debut in Africa’s biggest club competition in 1997, APR have never reached the group stages.
