The winners of the 5th edition of the Capital Market University Challenge will walk away Rwf1.5 million richer.

According to a statement from Rwanda’s Capital Market Authority (CMA), the first runner-up will win Rwf1.2 million while the group that will come in third will pocket Rwf800,000. All participants will, however, get certificates. The contest is scheduled for February 27 to March 22 and is open to all competition clubs in the quiz category and individuals in the essay writing, the statement added. It targets undergraduate students from universities across the country.

The competition seeks to create awareness among students while they are still in learning institutions to know more about the Rwanda’s capital market.

Previous competitors are not eligible to participate in the forthcoming university challenge, according to CMA. Registration for participants is ongoing at CMA website, http://www.cma.rw.
